Custom ASEAN Event Lanyard Proposal | Event Merchandise Malaysia & Singapore

A simple event lanyard can still make a strong visual statement when the colour, branding and hardware are designed around the event theme.

This ASEAN event lanyard was developed as a proposal for an event merchandise brief, with the focus on creating something practical, visually distinctive and achievable within a defined budget.

The design uses 550 quality paracord combined with customised hardware and ASEAN-inspired colour combinations. The lanyard features an ASEAN logo adjustable stopper, engraved ASEAN logo pendant and 360° metal clip, creating a branded yet functional event accessory.

Several colour and hardware combinations were explored to demonstrate how the same basic lanyard structure could be adapted to different event requirements.

Designed Around the Brief

For corporate and event merchandise, budget is often just as important as appearance.

Instead of adding unnecessary details, we focused on the elements that would make the lanyard feel customised:

The result is a simple, useful and highly customisable event lanyard suitable for conferences, summits, corporate events, workshops and branded event merchandise.

A Proposal That Didn't Become the Final Order

This proposal was ultimately not selected for the project.

But we believe design proposals are also part of what we do.

Every brief gives us an opportunity to explore a different colour combination, material, hardware configuration or way of turning a brand identity into something people can actually use.

And sometimes, even when a proposal doesn't become an order, we're still proud of the thing we made.
